Founded by an experienced British teacher and language learner with strong ties to Trinidad and Tobago, Marinage reflects a blend of cultures, perspectives, and a lifelong belief that education should feel empowering - not intimidating.
The name Marinage carries deep personal meaning. It honours the founder’s grandmother - a Trinidadian woman who believed in the power of education. It also pays tribute to the Caribbean history of maroonage, a legacy of freedom, resistance, and self-determination.
